Day 1: Cycling HCMC to Can Tho
Day 2: Cycling Can Tho to Chau Doc
Day 3: Taking a morning speedboat to Phnom Penh in Cambodia, arrival time around 12h30.
You can do both ways: book a Mekong delta package tour or book the hotel first then book the river tour seperately. It might be more flexible for you to go with the second option but in general people book the trip in advance.
Because Mekong Delta where there are not many people can speak English well and so sometimes even people who work in small hotels in this region can not understand exactly what you want to do.
