Mekong Delta Cycle Tour 3 days

Day 1: Saigon – LongAn – My Tho– VinhLong – Can Tho.
Depart for TanAn, we fit our bikes and stunning to the second biggest dragon fruits in Vietnam. The highlights of the biking routes are friendly farmers who shootting “hello” to you, through village is famous for “hu tieu” (vermicelli) in My Tho and plendid Vinh Trang pagoda.
On arrival the dock, we take a private boat to the Mekong Riverside for a local lunch and then horse-cart takes us along the coconut land (also called Hương Dừa) in which explore about proceeding its products. Afterward, we ride under the picturisque shad to BaLai and onto BenTre city (if time permit). A/C Support van will transfer to AnBinh island, experience at local homestay in Vinh/Sa Dec.

We bike along the single track to the ferry for a transferring to SaDec – a lovely town is used to be famous for “L’amant” story of writter Maguarite Duras and landlord Huynh Thuy Le (in “The Lover” film).
We also warm your biking day at SaDec Flower Village – the best known as the biggest flower town in Mekong Delta. In this cycling route, we might see some boat building spots, learn about taking care of bonsai & flower’s techniques.
After your lunch at the crocodile land in LongXuyen, we cycle on the ricefields or along the branch of CanTho River (one of nine dragon rivers delta) to PhongDien where we can take a short van to CanTho Center for overnight at hotel.

Mekong Delta Cycle Tour 4 days

Day 1 | Saigon Tan An – My Tho – Ben Tre – Tra Vinh.
No longer 1,5 hours transfer to Tan An, where we start biking on the paved road to explore the world of fruit orchards. Dragon fruit is the most much lands of farmer who improve there income, we bike 25km on this stage with some stops to experience the flavour of fresh fruits, villages with fun kids (you might see them on the way back home from school). Lunch at the Vietnamese restaurant.
In the afternoon, we drive about 1 hour relax in the comfortable van to Ben Tre at the most beautiful village with an very easy paths and more than 70% coconut trees in the local farms: we pedal under the shady coconuts, small & narrow lane, many stops for enjoying a fresh coconut water/ fruits, pass many family workshops where making coconut chopsticks and any kind of fibers. Take a crossing ferry on the Mighty Mekong River with a very short transfer to the center of Tra Vinh Remote Town for overnight.

Day 2 | Tra Vinh – Tieu Can – Tra On – Can Tho city.
We should get up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at 6am. On the nice weather and clear sky you will have this great moment on the Mekong Riverside. Your breakfast will be started at 7:30am with simple foods as bread, jam, milk, fruit and coffee or tea. Time for relax and ready for this biggest cycling of 3 days tour. Leaving the guesthouse and say goodbye to the hostess, from there we stun a hundred orchards of this island, we ride pass people’s fruit yards pomelo, guava, durian, rambutan and see to chat with farmer, and you may also started at from the khmer pagoda.
We cycle further to the secrete khmer villages, learn clearer about their life had been created the Khmer big culture and many stop for photography in front of the art houses that made from thatch plants, water coconut leaves. This is a really experience the colourful temples and flowers along the way to Tieu Can. Then, we transfer and have lunch in Tra Met with siesta.
The afternoon ride is also a fantastic route under a thousand of pomelos & 3 ferries, endless rice-fields on Luc Si Thanh & My Hoa. We bring you up to take to Can Tho for another night-stay.

Day 3: Can Tho – Vinh Long – Sa Dec.
There are two most interesting sites that we must see because one has funs and other is related to French Indochina. The first site is busy floating market in Can Tho and we are going to go there by boat. The second site is an ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le. Who was in loved with Marguerite Duras then the story became a movie. After we watched floating market of Cai Rang, a short driving taking us to Can Tho bridge to start biking. From Binh Minh to Sadec town, we bike on country back roads, through sweet potatoes, family work shop making rice powder, brick factories and pedaling along canals busy with many boats moving up and down. Our delicious lunch is serves at Huynh Thuy Le house and we have a rest before we ride to Cao Lanh city. We bike through village of flower in countryside of Sadec, then we keep our afternoon’ cycling through many small village through mango gardens, rivers and we have a van/bus transfer to Cao Lanh city.

4th Day: Sa Dec – Cao Lanh – Xeo Quyt Base – Cai Be – Saigon.
Cao Lanh is a new town after Vietnam War. Foreigners are rarely being seen in this town because it is not really a nice place for bus tours. But bike routes are so unique. The place we start biking is about 30 minutes transfer by vehicle from Cao Lanh city. The quiet rural back road by small rivers gives you a fantastic ride with beautiful scenery along the way to Xeo Quyt, former base of Viet Cong. A local guide will lead you the way to see some shelters and a sampan rowing boat taking you into forest. If time permitted, our last ride is about 25 km on single track, through rice fields, irrigation networks, fruit orchards. We end up cycling at high road and have lunch before two hours and half returning to HCM by vehicle.

Mekong Delta Bicycle Tour 5 days

Day 1: Saigon – TraVinh.
After you are picked up at hotel, you’ll have an hour transfer to LongAn for a morning ride. We firstly pedal with farmers on the works & on the dragon fruit fields, some little paths through vegetable plantations and countryside villages along the way to MyTho. We set your package lunch with local foods and any stop for visiting an old vermicelli village, taste fresh fruits & pagoda of Vinh Trang.
In the afternoon, beautiful and unique routes enable you to take time to ride on narrow concrete routes, pass thatch houses, through coconut irrigation system, share space on small path with kids finished from schools. Then we follow a single track to Mekong River. We will get on Van/bus to hotel after a ferry crossing.

In the morning, your riding is started from the impressive Khmer Pagodaon foot paths through wild villages and some surprising routes into the endless rice paddies for many great & panorama landscape. There, Many single tracks just enough for bicycles and mopeds as a system of country foot paths giving you wonder time crossing rice paddy fields which linking villages to villages from TraVinh to CauKe & TraMet via TieuCan. These routes allow you to ride pass traditional villages of Monks, most of people here still keep their own traditional way of living style. Thatch houses are still popular used and associated within Khmer communities in Mekong Delta’ Vietnam. On the way of biking, we will stop at some colorful Khmer Buddhist temples so you can see monks spraying and studying in their class at temple. Right here our bike guides will tell you the big difference between two branches of Buddhism. One is Mahayana and other is called Theravada. Your bike adventures in the afternoon with exploring mighty Mekong Delta, ride pass tropical fruit orchards and mingle with crowd on bike on islands of grapefruit, longan and orange and having funs as we spending time on small ferry boating on small bendy rivers to Island. Then we continue our adventures by cycling on paths along Mekong River to Binh Minh town. A 30 minutes transfer you to hotel for beers for beer!
