After a 6-hour cycling journey from Cao Lanh to Chau Doc, we finally arrived at the accommodation on Sam Mountain. This Sam mountain is also known by other names of Vinh Te Son or Ngoc Lanh Son.

Located 284 meters above sea level, Sam Mountain is one of the famous tourist destinations in An Giang, it has the interchange in tour between Vietnam and Cambodia with a convenient speedboat from/to Chau Doc to Phnom Penh.

There are 200 temples, pagodas, temples and shrines scattered from the foot of the mountain to the top. However, what I expect when I come here is to enjoy the most beautiful sunset in Mekong Delta. Fortunately, the time to reach Sam Mountain is also the time of sunset. We have just breathed the fresh air of the West, while watching the spectacular sunset over the Mekong Delta.

The time I went was in October so the rice fields below were all green, a fresh and pleasant green. The scenery is so beautiful, but only sporadically, there are a few tourists who should take photos and enjoy. The feeling of peace made me immediately forget about the haze and hustle and bustle of Saigon. It can be said that the sunset in Chau Doc is one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Not only that, we came here for Chau Doc tours, we highly recommend on the occasion of the full moon so every night we could see the bright and dreamy moonlight.
