Cycling Saigon to Phu Quoc 5 days

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning and transport you for 1,5 hours to the rural District of Long An. The cycle ride begins in the countryside of My Tho Dist, where you will cycle 25 km on small single track trails, and travel country roads through fruit orchards in the rural areas by the Mekong River. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will take a local ferry to Ben Tre then we continue riding on paths through An Binh Island to the main branch of the Upper River, Co Chien River. Have another ferry crossing to Vinh Long town where your driver and van are standby. Have a short transfer to Vinh Long in the late afternoon.

Spend a morning biking 35 km from the rural homestay through rice paddies and coconut plantations; you will cycle along canals and villages of Khmer, passing a handful of colorful temples, tiny thatch houses on rural paths to Cai Lay. After crossing a Mekong lower river with 2 different ferry boats, we stop for lunch in Cai Be town. After lunch, we will continue cycling to discover country villages on An Bình island which is a famous island of rambutan, durian, through duck farms, family fish farms. If time permits and your group ability, you will conquer another beautiful orchard loop in Tam Binh to Can Tho bridge. Overnight in Can Tho city.

Anyone who has been to Can Tho and seen a busy floating market and will never forget it!. A boat ride will take you to the floating market before your biking starts. We cycle through Phong Dien’ countryside, the area owns many small natural creeks across many villages. After a fruit stop at Phong Dien, we continue to pedal your bike on track by river, enjoy daily activities of local on rivers; grocery  boats advertising plastic household goods, cargo boats selling sands for building, small fast boat bring pigs, ducks to local markets and many small ferries taking passengers to further side. We will stop for lunch in the town of Thoi Lai. Then we continue to hit the paths and ride to Co Do and to Long Xuyen. In the afternoon, you will cycle deeply into and bicycling on paths along man made canals as you race with local boats, and water taxi, cargo boats and sampan. The main means of transportation over here is waterways. During the afternoon’ ride, we have a 1h30 minute transfer by van/bus to a hotel in Chau Doc city.

Your beautiful biking day from the Hotel in Chau Doc ! You will have a later morning to enjoy the breakfast and fit your bike again to ride through the Chau Doc city to Kenh Dao canal. You will ride past the huge rice paddies & lotus ponds where you can collect the most beautiful landscape of this Mekong biking trip. Enjoy your lunch in the Tra Su Cajuput forest and take 2 hours on a motorized boat and sampan boat to the reserved center forest. 

Afterwards, you will ride in-depth into the Khmer village toward the Ba Truc direction and stop for our charming picture in front of the palm tree lance. You will visit one of the local homes where you can taste the palm flesh and learn about the palm sugar from farmers. Overnight in Chau Doc after return to hotel around 16 P.M

We check out a Chau Doc's hotel for 2 hours to Ha Tien Pier and the express boat will take an hour and a half to Phu Quoc island by 5 star express boat. Phu Quoc Express Boat will leave at 12h30 am and it takes about 1,5 hours to get to Bai Vong dock, Phu Quoc Island. You should use a public transfer about 30 minutes to the center of Duong Dong city before the boat ride begins and please arrange your own service on Phu Quoc island because this biking trip saigon to phu quoc 5 days will end all of our services at the Ha Tien Pier.
